Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage inventory levels to meet demand forecasts and minimize stockouts, ensuring optimal inventory turnover and cost-effectiveness.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, negotiating contracts, pricing, and terms to ensure quality, reliability, and cost-efficiency.
- Coordinate logistics and transportation activities, including scheduling shipments, optimizing routes, and managing freight costs.
- Monitor and analyze supply chain performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions to enhance efficiency and reduce lead times.
- Collaborate with production, sales, and marketing teams to align supply chain strategies with business goals and customer requirements.
- Implement and maintain inventory management systems and tools to streamline processes and improve accuracy.
- Stay informed about industry trends, regulations, and best practices to drive continuous improvement and innovation in supply chain operations.
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 2+ years of experience in supply chain management, preferably in the CPG industry or a fast-paced startup environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret data and make data-driven decisions.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments and with external partners.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other relevant software applications for data analysis and inventory management.
- Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.
- Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
